Department Overview

The Relations and information is responsible for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of public infrastructure in Mkoani District. This includes roads, bridges, government buildings, drainage systems, and waste management facilities. The department ensures that infrastructure development meets quality standards, serves community needs, and contributes to the overall development of the district.

Our team consists of engineers, technicians, project managers, and support staff who work together to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects and services. We collaborate closely with other departments, community stakeholders, and development partners to ensure that infrastructure development is aligned with the district's strategic goals and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Kusimamia na kuratibu taarifa zote zinazotoka Mamlaka za Mitaa kwenda katika vyombo vya habari; 2. Kuandaa taarifa rasmi kutoka Mamlaka ya Serikali ya Mitaa kwenda kwa jamii; 3. Kusimamia mchakato wa kujenga mahusiano mazuri na wakaazi wa Malaka za Serikali za Mitaa na Wadau wengine; 4. Kuratibu ziara za wageni wa ndani na wa nje ya nchi wanaofika kwa lengo la kupata ufahamu wa shughuli za Mamlaka ya Serikali ya Mitaa; 5. Kutayarisha na kupitia vipeperushi na matangazo ya kuitangaza Taasisi; 6. Kupokea malalamiko kwa wadau na wananchi kwa ujumla juu ya utendaji wa taasisi; 7. Kutoa ushauri wa masuala yote yanayohusiana na habari; 8. Kutoa taarifa za taasisi katika mambo mbali mbali ya maendeleo na matatizo ya taasisi; 9. Kuandaa ripoti za utekelezaji wa kazi ikiwemo ripoti ya robo, nusu na mwaka.
